Contrary to "dinodino", the use of the word "terrorism" or "terrorist" can be applied, intelligently and sensibly to a lot of situations that don’t include murder or destruction of property. I must admit, however, that I don’t follow the "news" enough to determine whether the term is applicable in this case. But, from what I do know, your question reflects intelligence far and above better than "politicos" who think with their backside than their brain. God Bless you.
No. Terrorists KILL PEOPLE. Calling him a terrorist is ignoring the meaning of terrorism and engaging in ridiculous hyperbole. I think you should pay more attention to the meaning of words in the English language and quit throwing around the term "terrorism" so loosely.
Edit: I stand by my answer and find rbjlr’s comments also show a misunderstanding of the word "terrorism" and reflect an unfortunate tendency of people tho apply the term to situations where it is totally unwarranted to score partisan political points.
