A jury of your peers simply refers to a jury pulled from members at large of the society in which you live. They do not have to have anything else in common with you.
That’s pretty funny, I like that. I can only imagine what the defense would say. Speaking of defense, I can’t imagine what kind of low life lawyer would EVER try and defend his butt!
