Because in it it says that we should ask those who know.
And it was those of Al Ghazali that stated, all knowledge is from the god, and not from creation. So much so science fell, and people became "mystics". And sufism rose… and the ummah fell.
And the quran states that we should go and see creation.
Sure.

What do you think?
I’m a Muslim myself but I can tell you most Muslims are idiots, narrow-minded and are not worth chatting except for the ones who think in more "modern" ways or have been to western countries a few years and have an open mind about things. As long as Muslims try to justify every single issue by using religion, they’ll be backward forever.
Being religious doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to be and act like an idiot person belonging to the dark ages.
It’s because Muslims are guided to do the things like that by Allah in the Qur’an. Muslims are advised to listen to all the available advices and choose the best one amongst them by Allah in the Qur’an.
Just take a look at below.
39 – Az-Zumar
039.018. Who hear advice and follow the best thereof. Such are those whom Allah guideth, and such are men of understanding.
You see being pertaining to mind (aqli) is the greatness of the Qur’an, and it’s exactly this trait of the Qur’an which distinguishes it from the rest of the scriptures in the world.
Well I do not ask for advice, Generally only answer. But the fact is thought the Quran gives us the best way of life. But it does not mean there is not other information that may be helpful. The QUran does not tell us the symptoms of an illness, or where we can find a Masjid in Florida or What is the best Halah Burger place in Chicago. Or what peoples experiences were on Hajj and how to make it easer for a person on diaretics and blood thiners for heart disease. Or if Wonderbread has and L-cistine (human hair) These are questions that are situation specific and knowing them may be helpful in our practice of Islam. The Quran is the Guide to my life, but seeking knowledge in other areas helps me to be successful in my practice of Islam(though generally I do not look to Answers for this knowledge)
I agree that deep religous questions have no place here, but there are times when Allah(SWT) Uses others to help and assist you. He provides us with the food but he is not a delivery boy, we still have to go out and seek it.
Is it Haram to ask our husband to stop on the way home from work and pick up some milk? Maybe it is if you truely believe he is the one providing the milk. But if you truly understand Islam, you understand that only Allah(SWT) can make the cow, only Allah(SWT) can make that cow produce milk, and only Allah(SWT) can make all the factors possible to get the Milk to market. And if he does not want you to get that milk, It does not matter how many times you call your husband, he will not be able to bring it home. Alhumduliallah, Allah (SWT) is the best of providers and I pray every day that he continues to provide for us. So when I ask my husband to stop for milk I say InshAllah and, he always says InshAllah. We ultimatly know where our help comes from.
Another example would be the Prophets and messengers (PBUT) People asked help from them in leaning Islam. But they always knew that noone could teach them anything unless Allah(SWT) willed it.
