Either understanding of the word "Dahaha" works and is in accordance with modern science…
The word Dahaha can mean "to spread, cause to drift, make an expanse, to seperate…" But it has also been used in some dialects to refer to an Ostrich egg. And what is amazing is that both are accurate.
If we understand the first meaning, it is a perfect description of the continental drift phenomenon, and how the earth actually formulated [at first being a tight, red hot ball of lava and rock, and over billions of years, cooling, absorbing iron-based meteorites, etc, and thus expanding to it's present form and size] -and the meaning is absolutely correct.
The secondary meaning of "Dahaha" -being egg-shaped, is also correct for obvious reasons… but a little known fact is that the earth is not a perfect circle… It actually is a bit wider in the middle than the two poles… thus it is literally "egg shaped."

Well, the Muslims always need to find something or the other to justify anything about Islam; even though a lot of it is very evidently wrong.
Other than what is in their Book, which has been done threadbare and where scores of scholars have proved beyond any shade of valid doubt that most of their Religion is made up of superstition and lies, they still insist that they are right and everyone else is wrong.

sura 79:30 has completely nothing to do with egg shape [ baidaiwiy means egg shape in arabic], if translated consisely 79:30 should read and the earth after that he [allah[ spread out like a carpet and flattened. dahaahaa means spread out like a carpet and flatten. why arabic speaking don’t speak out is a disgrace. why want arabic speaking muslims tell these people this?

if you are among the gullible and ignorant Westerners who were lured or deceived into Islam, your claimed that the Qur’an says the earth is LIKE THE EGG OF OSTRICH can be simply regarded as a pathetic ignorance. But if you are an Arabic Muslim, then you must be one of those lying to save the ‘face ‘of the glaringly erroneous Qur’an.
Who lied to you, or who do you want to lie to, that the word ’Dahahaa’ means shaped-like-an-ostrich’s-egg? What connects the word ’Dahahaa’ with egg (of ostrich or any thing), which in Arabic means ’baida’? And shaped-like-an-ostrich’s-egg means ’baidaiwiy’ or ‘baidi‘l shakl‘. No Arabic Dictionary in this World or an Arabic linguist could toy with its or his reputation by claiming that the verb ’daha’ means ’made-spherical’ or ’made-like-ostrich-egg’s-shape.’ because it is obviously not.
The True Reason Why The Word “DAHAHA” Was Used in Qur’an 79:30.
It is obviously the Qur’an’s STANDARD position that the earth is FLATTEN or SPREAD OUT or STRETCH OUT or SPREAD OUT LIKE A CARPET or AN EXPANCE. Thus the Qur’an has consistently used various alternative words that each means FLATTEN, or SPREAD OUT or AN EXPANCE etc to describe the shape of the earth. Incidentally, the ostrich uses its legs and wings to ‘DAHA’ or FLATTEN the desert sands where it lays its egg. So, for once the word “DAHAHA,” which has the same meaning with the other descriptive, alternative words of that family was used in Qur’an 79:30.

Thus it is very instructive that of all the key Qur’anic words that implies a FLATTEN earth:
(Madda, Madadnaha, Firasha, Mahdan, Farashnaha, Bisata, Mihada, Dahaha, Tahaha and Sutehat) it is only one (Dahaha) that clever, ‘Westernly’ educated Muslims manipulate to say that it has two meanings–SPREAD OUT and EGGED-SHAPE.
But since grammatically, the word ‘Dahaha’ has nothing to do with an egg in Arabic, the desperate clever Westernized Muslims fraudulently claim that the word ’Dahaha’, ( which they necessarily admit that it means SPREAD OUT ) also means shaped-like-the-egg-of-ostrich. And what is their ‘reason?’: That the word ’Dahaha’ is a derivative of the word ’Duhiyya’, which, they reasoned, means the egg of ostrich. What a laughable desperation!
You may be surprised to know that there are two levels of falsehood in this claim. First of all ‘Dahaha’ is NOT a derivative of ‘Duhiyya’, which is in fact a noun. On the contrary, both ‘Duhiyya’ and ‘Dahaha’ are derivatives of a root word ‘Dahawa’. In other word, the only relationship between ’Dahaha’ and ‘Duhiyya’ is that they are both derivatives of their common root word ’Dahawa’ or d-h-w.
Secondly, ’Duhiya’ does not mean the egg of an ostrich. It means the FLATTEN place in the desert sand where the ostrich lays it eggs. All the Arabic dictionaries known to the world describe ’Duhiya’ as such!
And the word ’Dahaha’ ( which is a ‘brother’ of the word ’Duhiya’ ) means to FLATTEN or to SPREAD OUT ( like the place leveled by the ostrich for laying its eggs ). In fact, every Arabic dictionary describes the verb ’Dahaha’ as such.
