why is it a bigger crime to disbelieve in the invisible than to rape according to Quran?

rape is not referred to once in a quran

but not desiring in creatures that appear enchanting is an unforgivable crime

When believing in Allah(swt) and the Quran, you believe in Hell Fire, this will put fear in your Heart of doing anything wrong, including rape.

Believing in NOTHING, just allows you to do anything you wish, including rape. Believing there will only be so much consequences, and nothing anyone can really do, because you like them are only human.

none of us know what we will be punished for and what we are forgiven for.
Only Allah(swt) is the Judge of that.

What is the source of your information?

If you read "Quran as it explains itself" at http://www.ourbeacon.com, you’ll find the answer. Here it is for you:

RAPE: Most people think that the Qur’an prescribes no punishment for the rapist. But the Qur’an claims to be a well perfected Book and that it covers all things that were necessary to be revealed (Innattibiyaana lakulla shayi). The Qur’an does not use the term ‘Zina-bil-Jabr’ (forced sex) for good reason since it prescribes grievous punishment even for harassing or bothering women. The term used in 33:60 derives from Rajf = Creating alarm = Bothering = Frightening = Harassing = Causing to tremble = Inciting fear. The punishment for men creating Rajf among women could vary from exile to slaying depending on the extent of Rajf caused by the accused]

33:60 Thus it is: If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is disease, and those who create turmoil in the City do not desist (from maligning women), We shall give you control over them (O Prophet). And then they will be your neighbors for no more than a short while.

33:61 Accursed, they shall be seized wherever found and slain one and all. [This is the penalty for men who keep annoying innocent women on the street, assault them or rape them]

33:62 That was the way of God among those who lived before. And never will you find any change in God’s way.

Hope you have found your answer. There are no magical creatures in which you have to believe. There is no mention of such things in the Quran. I think you have information from sources which mix up mythology with facts.

Because it is illogical and dangerous.

Why else would leaving Islam be a greater sin than murder – which can be easily forgiven by a quick trip to Mecca on a Hajj.

BECAUSE ONCE YOUR A DISBELIEVER THEN IF THEIR IS NO FAITH, THEN A PERSON IS WILLING TO DO ALOT OF THINGS LIKE RAPE..
but religion and believe set guideline to a person so they can think twice before they do something as horrible as rape.

Prophet mohammad was a war lord and a peodophile – he went around raping people (especially little girls) – this explains why he did not mention rape when he wrote the Quran.

Because the invisible was the source of Muhammad’s power. If you disbelieve in that, you strip Muhammad of his power. No dictator will tolerate that. As did Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Ho Chi Minh, Pol Pot, Hitler and Castro, Muhammad murdered anyone who questioned his authority.
