today less than one person in one hundred thousand can read or write classical arabic.even today the muslim scholars can’t agree on what the classical arabic quran has stated. some of the words in classical arabic have as many as 35 different meanings. leaving 20% of the quran incomprehensible in any language. so why do muslim claim you have to read it in modern arabic to understand the quran, when they are reading a translation of classical arabic?

Translation is a problem with any historical book, including the Christian Bible. Experts differ on interpretations of the ancient Hebrew and Greek.

Quran is written in Arabic, with time it is classified as classic. However, the language of the Revelation is perfectly preserved in the literature of the time and one can verify everything with the minimum of effort.

supposedly according to one of those extra books that the muslims added to the quran as a side dish to their entree there is a story most muslims insist that stoning for adultery is part of Islam because the prophet did it. There are hadiths which say he stoned adulters; a hadith of Umar saying people will one day say stoning shouldnt’ be done becaues it’s not in the quran even though the prophet definately did it; and it’s based on this why muslims stone adulterers. But it’s not in the quran at all, showing only iblis wants adulterers to be stoned.
The hadith about the goat eating the verses is to exlpain why these ruels aren’t in the quran. Muhammad revealed the verses of stoning and suckling, then he died, then the verses were written down and left under his wife’s bed, but a goat came and ate it so they were lost. Is there a better explanation why Allah wouldn’t include stoning for zinna (or of apostates and gays) in the quran?

I imagine because it was the writing style used then, just as aramaic was the main written language of the bible.
